With that in mind, this January, Sommelier Mark Bowery and Chef Stephen Smith are once again joining forces to produce a culinary extravaganza that will exceed your wildest expectations. Join us for an enchanting celebration of wine, food, company, conversation, and mellow background jazz. Mark will select five exceptional wines from the Albion River Inn cellar. These well-aged gems (valued at up to $150) will be paired with a rich and savory 6-course meal prepared by Stephen and his staff.

Cooking Classes
Chef Stephen Smith is designing mouth-watering menus for 7 fabulous new cooking classes scheduled from November through May. You’ll taste dishes in progress as he demonstrates the preparation of each recipe on his class menu, enjoy convivial company, a luncheon feast with wine or beer, and receive a full set of recipes.

His spectacular images are exhibited and collected widely, and his insightful and engaging workshop advice on the practical and aesthetic aspects of superior image-making will inspire your photographic creativity.
This 4-day workshop includes seminars, discussions, presentations, fieldwork, critiques, reception, lunches, and a gala dinner party, and is hosted by Albion River Inn.

Laura Spradlin Bar Manager & Artist
The elegant figure of Laura Spradlin, Albion River Inn’s stellar bar manager, can be seen almost every evening behind the bar where she’s worked her magic for 14 years. Laura is also a glass artist and spends her days working another kind of alchemy beside a glowing furnace where she creates variegated glass beads reminiscent of fine old Venetian glass, but with a modern twist, and uses these beauties to create one of a kind necklaces and earrings.
 Artistic talent runs in the family. Laura’s sister Lisa is a photographer & designer, and their parents, Gene and Patty Spradlin, own and run Paw Print Press, a small local print shop.
